This Sunday I went to the Festival of Books at USC with a friend who was there to sign autographs and while she chatted with fans and signed photos I wandered the festival. As an avid reader and total book geek who spent all her childhood allowance on books, it was really a great day. Wandering among other book readers, listening to music and authors read from their books on a warm sunny Southern California day was fantastic.
There were sections for all kinds of interests: self-publishing, kids, cooking, travel, spiritual, eco friendly, and on and on. You should go next year. Highly recommended.
P.S. Here she is hard at work signing photos...she might kill me for this!
